Collage

Gather old newspapers, magazines, and anything else that has words or pictures that you wouldn't mind cutting up.

Cut out any of those pictures or words that are appealing to you and arrange them on a piece of paper (construction paper works well). Be creative with it.

Tip: Save magazines and newspapers regularly so that you have them on hand in the future. Use one of your smaller collages to serve as a cover for your journal. Collect all of your collages and use them to make a huge collage for your wall!
