Go For a Walk

Get dressed and go for a walk instead of just sitting in the house and feeling misable. Enjoy the day or night. Consider maybe even going for a power walk to give your body a comfortable work out. Fresh air can really do wonders to improve your mood.

Tip: Please always be safe. Sometimes when we get upset and feel that need to get away, we aren't thinking about the possibilities of danger. Let someone know where you are going before you leave. If you choose to walk at night, stay in public areas such as along a busy street. Avoid listening to music that is loud enough to block out all other sounds. Consider carrying a defensive weapon such as pepper spray (call your local police department to check your city's laws and conditions). Your best option is to walk with a friend.
