Scrapbook

I believe the journey of recovery is a difficult, but strangely beautiful thing. Sometimes the distance you've covered so far is hard to recognize and appreciate. So, documenting your progress and hardships in a unique and expressive way can be essential.

Create your own scrapbook!

For mine, I used a basic three-ring binder with a transparent viewing sleeve. Why a viewing binder? With this particular binder, you can create your own cover with whatever you want and simply slide it into the sleeve where it will be protected.

I hole punched a small stack of colored construction paper and placed them inside to offer a durable workspace for my pages.

Use clippings, drawings, writings, and other small items to personalize each page.

Whenever you are feeling down or perhaps particularly happy, add to your scrapbook in whichever way suits your mood.
